Prime time for the perfect pre-harvest.
Because pulse crops mature from the bottom up, a pre-harvest herbicide can dry down any green material at the top, improving crop uniformity and harvest efficiency. It’s critical to apply at the proper timing, since once applied, a pre-harvest herbicide will immediately begin to dry down the crop– no matter the stage of development. If one is applied too early, it can affect yield, reduce seed size and even exceed maximum residue limits.

Watch for your cue.
Be sure to scout regularly when the colour of your fields start to turn. Look for visual cues that indicate your crop is ready for a pre-harvest herbicide application. For peas, apply your pre-harvest herbicide when 75% of the pods have turned colour, and the peas in the remaining green pods are firm.
Applied pre-harvest, Heat® LQ speeds up crop and weed dry down to improve uniformity, harvestability and storability. Tank mixed with glyphosate for control of broadleaf and perennial weeds, Heat LQ helps start your fields off cleaner next season.
